.SLOUGH, ENGLAND - OCTOBER 09: Dennis a captive-bred dormouse is surrounded with 20 solid silvercast hazel nuts and a gold plated one at Burnham Beeches on October 09, 2009 in Slough England.  The People's Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) , together with Natural England, launches the third Great Nut Hunt, a public survey to help save the endangered hazel dormice (Muscardinus avellanarius). The silver and gold nuts are hidden in woodlands to encourage would-be nutters to take part in a survey to find as many gnawed nuts as possible to find the distribution and numbers of this rare mammal. ..***Agreed Fee's Apply To All Image Use***.Marco Secchi /Xianpix. tel +44 (0) 771 7298571. e-mail ms@msecchi.com .www.marcosecchi.com
